Between Christmas and New Year we open the doors of Pokahroom Antwerp for the very first time. We have several specials scheduled including a new format we are introducing: the Mystery Deal event. Everyone is more than welcome to join us to wave goodbye to the year, with maybe a big bankroll boost in their pocket...

  • Mix Max or Friday

    For those not familiar with this poker concept: you start the tournament with 9 players at the table, somewhere halfway through we go to 6-handed. Finally, we play 4-handed to end with a heads-up session.

  • Mystery Bounty on Saturday

    From once the players are in the money then for each knockout you get a Mystery Bounty. The top prize, in addition to the undoubtedly fat prize pool, is one bounty of a whopping €2,025.

  • Mystery Deal on Sunday

    There is no set payout in this event. Various deals will be proposed during the In The Money phase. Up to the players to decide: cash out or continue playing for more...

New at Pokah, Mystery Deal!

How does the Mystery Deal event work?

We play to the money but there is no set payout like regular poker events. On a regular basis, the Tournament Director will propose a deal to the players still in the tournament. Whenever a majority of the players agree to the deal, the deal goes through. That is, the players who agreed are paid out ... the other players continue playing until a new deal is proposed.

If you agree to a deal early you are guaranteed a smaller cash, if you want more you have to wait for a better deal but at the risk of being eliminated before a new deal is on the table.

Texas Hold'Em & Omaholic

Next year we will introduce a new side event on Wednesdays. The Jumping Jacks event is a Round of Each event that switches between Texas Hold'em and Omaha as the level changes. On Friday during the holiday specials, we're already taking out one.
