There is no obligation in clubs to do an EPIS check. This means that players who cannot enter a casino for professional reasons, can still enter the club.

  • Pokahnights' rooms are private clubs. Only players with membership cards have access to the club. Everyone who is legally allowed to play can become a member of the club. We need the personal information each member for registration and each member pays €15 membership fee per year. Members have access to all rooms. Be sure to check our privacy statement to see how we care for your data.

  • A wide range of Food & Drinks is available in the rooms of Pokahnights. Therefore, it is not allowed to consume your own drinks or food. The catering revenues of the rooms are the main financial drivers of Pokahnights and for the realization of the most sophisticated live club poker program in Europe. We appreciate your support here.

  • Our Pokahroom in Antwerp is wheelchair accessible.
There is an elevator on the ground floor. Do you have specific questions about the accessibility of the room? Don't hesitate to contact us with your questions.

  • Players sitting at a poker table, standing around a poker table or engaged in a poker hand are only allowed to speak Dutch, French or English. Only in this way can we guarantee that all participants feel comfortable during the game. At the bar, in the resto, on the terrace: you can speak whatever language you prefer, as long as there is maximum respect for all who are present.

respect & fair play

  • Everyone who participates in Pokahnights live poker events acknowledges that the Floor and the Tournament Director running the tournament have all decision-making power to run the tournament in the proper manner. The Pokahnights crew may make any decision in the interest of the proper running of a live poker tournament. Pokahnights follows the poker rules issued by the TDA (Poker Tournament Directors Association - www.pokertda.com).

  • At Pokahnights everyone is welcome: ethnicity, religion, social class and political beliefs are of no  importance at the poker tables in the Pokahrooms. With us, the Tournament Director has the final say and it is the poker gods who will decide the flop, the turn and the river... any infraction will, at a minimum, result in exclusion from the club for a period of at least 6 months. Any form of physical violence will always result in a lifetime exclusion in all rooms of Pokahnights.

  • Pokahnights considers it essential that all events run correctly. Therefore, we have several control mechanisms in place and have the necessary camera surveillance. In addition, we count on all players to make every effort to act exclusively according to the rules. Any violation found will, at a minimum, result in exclusion from the club for a period of at least 6 months.

  • There is a lot of equipment available in the room: tables, screens, chips, chairs, ... Pokahnights makes a daily effort to maintain this equipment and ensure that the events can take place in the greatest comfort. We count on all players to treat this equipment with the same respect.

  • Today, patience and understanding are essential everywhere, including in the poker club. Always give your fellow players, other visitors and the crew time and space to settle things. Being polite to one another has never made anyone worse off. Good, clear and honest communication is fundamental to keeping the club ecology optimal. Thanks for doing your part here.

  • Pokahnights rooms play all types of poker players. Players who are playing live for the first time, players who have never played poker before, recreational players and players who participate in our events several times a week. Everyone who is allowed to play (see above) is more than welcome. It takes only 5 minutes to explain the rules... it takes a lifetime to master them. Remember that beginning players can always count on the understanding and patience (see above) of everyone else.

about the games

  • To guarantee the operation of the club, rake is taken. This is around 10%, the most advantageous within the Belgian poker sector.

    • 50€ buy-in > 6€ rake

    • 40€ buy-in > 5€ rake

    • 35€ buy-in > 4€ rake

    • 30€ buy-in > 3€ rake

  • On a regular basis, qualifying events are organized in the rooms. This means that no prize pool is distributed but instead tickets of a higher value than €50. These tickets are used to organize finals every 6 to 8 weeks around a specific theme. Players who win a ticket can only use this ticket for the designated final. Unused tickets are not valid after the final has been played. Tickets are neither refundable nor redeemable for cash.

  • In clubs, only live low-stakes poker tournaments are played. There is no financial room in clubs to provide professional dealers. Therefore, participating players take turns dealing a hand themselves. Obviously, everything happens under the watchful eye of the floor and cameras in case there should be a problem.
